Cola - Keys & Vox        2006-present

Co-founder of this chaotic congregation, Cola has been writing and performing music in Chicago for over ten years.  She focuses primarily on her Gulbransen upright piano and a miriad of synths, but also has been known to rock her wicked semi-hollowbody on special occasions.  A singer and player who loves the sultry and well as the screaming influences, she continuously employs her passion for a variety of musical genres into her songwriting.  Before forming "The Low Republic" with her co-star Adam, she shared the stage with "The Princes of Futa" guitarist Kevin Mitchel in the much loved Chicago funk/fusion project "Neptune".  Cola began her performance career in the 1995 duo female project "The Daedal Fools" with Forty Piece Choir's Kelly Kruse.  She enjoys being a mother, seeking out new and exciting creative ventures, taking roadtrips, baking and of course live music.   When asked what she might be doing on a Friday night, she replied, "If you can't find me at a show in a dirty Chicago dive, I'm probably at home listening to music in my underwear."  She is cheeky and bright with a subtle curiousity about her.  If you are lucky enough to be sharing a cocktail or a cigarette with Ms. Cola while she is whipping her long wavy auburn locks to the side, she'll leave you wanting more and wondering what she was really thinking about.  That is, if her fantastically hypnotic saphire eyes haven't melted your ability to reason.

 Chadley - Bass Guitar       2007-present

Chad Duggans is more than your run of the mill bassist, much more.  If you are able to take a peak into his home studio you will find an impressive collection of classic guitars and basses, vintage effects, top of the line recording gear, high end Apple technology and Chad himself drowning in all of it.  He is the kind of musician that lives for perfecting his craft.  You might find him nose to the grimoire or fingers tinkering through his moog's many switches, but no matter what this elfish tattooed man is into at the moment, you can bet he's INTO it.  Chad can easily spend 40 hours a week just mixing his mad creations or tweaking levels on one of his many boards.  His writing style is constantly evolving, never stagnant and just what the doctor of modern music would order.  When he's not eye to the wire in his music studio, he'll certainly be waiting for the soft Chicago snow to fall, as Chad is also a hardcore snowboarding enthusiast.

 Adam - Guitar & Vox            2006-present

Adam McKinstry like Ms. Cola has also been writing and performing music for years.  If you were to ask someone whom knows Mr. McKinstry what this artistic savant is all about, they may tell you to buy him a whiskey and take down notes.  Adam is the guy that all the guys want to be and all the girls just want.  When the universe thrust Adam upon us all, was the day that a beam of light shined in.  He is a student of psychology and philosophy pursuing his masters' which is a giant force that can be felt in his songwriting.  "Kinstry" is a term that translates to "traveler", Adam certainly is such.  He has recently returned from studying abroad in Europe.  Adam was born to be the guy with a guitar strapped on his back, wandering the cobblestone avenues and pubs seeking out a muse for the moment.  His influences in music and art range from the very basic classics of rock and roll to the underground bands of Chicago that warm his soul.  He focuses his musical creative process by exploring life's many dramas, whether they be at the neighborhood watering hole or in a Berlin casbah.  His music is heartfelt and poetic.  Adam has appeared in local theatrical productions such as The Who's "Tommy" and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" where he starred as none other than Dr. Frankenfurter.  When he's not shining along side of Cola and Chad, he teaches guitar and piano to our future rock and roll cultivators.  In a nutshell, Adam is art.
